Art of Tea in the Bamboo Garden 竹園品茗

Take a breath and enjoy a slow afternoon of tea and Chinese folk art in the tranquility of the bamboo garden. T!C tea educators, Alice Liu and Anna Ye, will brew a set of two Chinese teas in the traditional gongfu style throughout the afternoon. Plan to spend 30-45 mins at this drop in event.

Folk artist Meifang Shi will teach mini-workshops on the art of palm braiding. Workshop participants will make a beautiful braided goldfish to bring home. RSVP to secure your spot for the workshop. A small donation would be appreciated to cover material costs and artist fees. No prior experience required to participate.

Estimated starting times for the workshops are:

  • 2:15pm, 2:30pm, 2:45pm

  • 3:15pm, 3:30pm, 3:45pm

  • 4:15pm, 4:30pm, 4:45pm

Reservations not required to enjoy tea & conversation.
