T!C’s Issues Guide: Candidates for City Council District 1

Think!Chinatown's civic engagement volunteer team has selected a few key issues important to us. We've combed through many online debate forums and news articles to glean candidate responses to put into our guide. We then contacted every candidate to give each campaign a chance to add to this information. The candidates that responded to us are (in order of response): Tiffany Winbush, Susan Lee, Sean Hayes, Maud Maron, Susan Damplo, Jenny Low, Chris Marte.

We hope this guide will help you make this difficult but important decision by June 22nd. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the ballot this year as it will be the first time for us all with rank choice voting. For a fun practice, you can use this mock ballot Think!Chinatown made with Democracy NYC to rank your favorite dimsum!
