Asian American International Film Festival’s in-person screening of “Big Fight in Little Chinatown” will be preceded by a collection of short films produced by Think!Chinatown.

Featured T!C short films include:

  • Baihuayou - Part of our Everyday Chinatown series, “Baihuayou” explains the expansive medicinal properties of white flower oil.

  • Medicine Pot - Part of our Everyday Chinatown series, “Medicine Pot” is an animated short paired with recorded oral history from Chinatown community members, who share memories from their childhood that involve medicine pots.

  • She Says - A dance film featuring the work of dancer and choreographer, Mei-Yin Ng. “She Says” tells the stories of two women in two different time periods of Chinatown coming to life.

  • Rocking the Boat - Part of our Art of Storytelling series, “Rocking the Boat” focuses on the pioneering advocate, Yee Ling Poon.
