Liang Cha Tea Party 涼茶講解會: Transitioning Through the Seasons

  • Think!Chinatown Studio 1 Pike Street New York, NY, 10002 United States (map)

Balance the changing seasons with a Liang Cha 凉茶 Tea Party! Leung cha / liang cha /  凉茶 / Chinese herbal cooling tea, is a traditional and refreshing beverage and known in traditional Chinese medicine for its ability to balance the body's energies.

Guided by herbalist Donna Mah, we will sample three different herbal teas to learn about the medicinal elements that make up each blend. We’ll learn more about concepts of traditional Chinese medicine and Donna’s personal journey exploring her own heritage through the practice of Chinese medicine. Special thanks to Kamwo for generously donating the herbal tea blends for our community programming!

Reservations are necessary to attend. Suggested donations: $10-20
